Shipping policy

All orders will be sent via Australia Post.

Shipping cost

We offer free shipping within Australia for all orders over $200 and up to 5kg in weight. Postage on orders over 5kg, will be calculated on an individual basis.

We offer flat rate shipping within Australia for $10.90. This includes packaging and tracking. We also offer a flat rate for Express shipping. 

The Sewing Department Queensland takes no responsibility for untracked shipping requests that may result in your parcel being lost or damaged during transit. 

The cost for international shipping will vary according to weight, size and destination.  Please email us directly and we will provide a shipping quote in AUD. Please note that international orders may incur import duties and taxes (including VAT) and are the sole responsibility of the customer. 

Estimated shipping time

We aim to carefully prepare and ship your order within two business days of your order being received. Delivery within Australia may take between 2 and 14 days, depending on the delivery option.

Order tracking

Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with relevant tracking information. This allows you to monitor the progress of your delivery and anticipate its arrival.

Damaged or lost items

Damaged or lost orders should be resolved with Australia Post or the courier company directly and we are not responsible for goods that are damaged in transit or not received. Replacement of damaged or lost items is made at the discretion of The Sewing Department Queensland.
