Ahoy Jacquard Cotton

Sale price$69.00 AUD
Length:

$69.00/metre LAST LENGTH AVAILABLE

The Merchant & Mills mid marine blue layered cotton has a jacquard weave that gives it a quilted look and feel.

The reverse is a gauzy cotton, there is no batting in the middle of this cloth, the inside is made up of a series of thicker yarns which gives it the quilted feel. The top is a fine cotton.

We can see this being used for throws, quilts, quilted jackets, oversized cushions, and smaller cosmetic bags. If possible we would advise overlocking your raw edges before sewing to prevent fraying.

  • 120cm wide.
  • 100% cotton.
  • 11.5oz, 396gsm.
  • This fabric is prewashed.
  • Country of origin; India.
  • There may be some white slubs throughout the cloth, these are not flaws.
  • We recommend not using this for something that will sit in direct sunlight.
  • Wash cool. Do not tumble. Shake out and dry flat. Iron cool.
  • There will be colour variations between rolls. There may also be colour graduation over the piece.

Comfy Cosy

This fabrication is so soft and cosy and the Colour is spot on to website. Ordering was a breeze and delivery was fast and came with a cute label, needle threader and thank you note ... love this touch! I ordered 2 metres and have sewn the Stylarc Beshal Jacket. This combo was a perfect matching and I cant wait for the colder weather. The construction of this fabric is a little delicate so less handling and more care required but sews very well with standard needles, thread etc. I encased some seams with bias to preserved the integrity and look neater in the process.
