Christmas Sewing Workshop at Lewington Studio

Join The Sewing Department for a festive day of sewing, chatting and Christmas inspiration at Lewington Studio. Together we'll stitch up some fabulous, fun Christmas decorations, with friendly tuition on hand throughout the day. The projects are beginner friendly, so whether you're new to sewing or simply want a creative day out, you'll go home with the knowledge to create handmade decorations and plenty of ideas for the festive season ahead. 
Workshop materials will be provided and each of the four projects demonstrated. You will receive printed instructions and temples for each of the projects and fabric starter kits.

We're running the workshop on two days:

Friday 6 November, 10am-3.30pm

Saturday 7 November, 9am-2.30pm

Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your place.

What to bring: your sewing machine in good working order, assorted threads, paper and fabric scissors, pins and your usual sewing kit. 

A generous homemade morning tea will be provided, and the shop will be open all day if you need to pick up any supplies.

About Lewington Studio

Lewington Studio is a modern, air-conditioned space in the leafy suburb of Pullenvale, about 18 km (a 30-minute drive) from Brisbane's CBD.

The studio sits on acreage, so there's plenty of parking. As the grounds are on a hillside, there are stairs up to the studio door. A second entrance with level access is also available, so please let me know before the workshop if you require to it.

Booking and cancellation policy

Your place is reserved once your payment has been received.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you can't attend, you're welcome to pass your ticket on to someone else to take your place. Please note that tickets can't be transferred or refunded after the workshop has taken place, including if you forget to attend.

Liability

You are responsible for taking care of your own safety while arriving at, attending and leaving the workshop. Lewington Studio and the attending tutors accept no liability for any injury, or for any loss, theft or damage to personal property, that occurs during the workshop. By attending, you accept responsibility for yourself and your belongings.
