Daphne Pinafore

The pull on top or dress has sections with topstitching detailing and features the most glorious deep front side pockets. Daphne Pinafore also has bust darts, cheeky back pockets, and the back view features a slit opening.

The top version features side slit openings and a short lower band. The length can be adjusted to suit you, using lengthen lines drawn on the pattern templates. This pattern has been made for a 5ft 7" person, and designed for a garment to be worn underneath, therefore not tight fitting at the bodice. If you would like to make for summer, without a top underneath, I would advise going down a size.

Daphne Pinafore and top pattern comes with full sized sturdy paper templates, in inclusive sizes from 8 to 30, with a step by step, easy to follow, illustrated instructions booklet, all packed up in an envelope. Templates can be pinned or weighed down when cutting out.
Suitable fabrics to make this dress and top would be medium weight cotton, denims, corduroy, linen and linen mixes. Why not think about mixing fabrics of similar weights and type to make a patchwork version (see last two images). A great addition to your holiday wardrobe.
