Frida Dress and Top

Frida is a fabulous new sewing pattern from the House of Sewgirl. This is a pattern to make a very stylish dress, maxi dress or top, all in one pattern.

Frida dress or top is suitable for beginners with some previous sewing experience, a really enjoyable project involving skills such as gathering, attaching a facing, inserting a loop or tie fastening, elastic and pockets. The pattern includes a step by step illustrated instruction booklet and templates on sturdy paper.

Frida dress and maxi dress has two frill tiers (depending on which length you select), side pockets, a keyhole neck opening with either ties or loop and button fastening, three quarter length gathered elasticated sleeves or short turned back cuff sleeves. You can mix and match to suit you. This is a lovely fun project to make a relaxed, everyday dress. 

Fabric Suggestions:  Woven fabrics including light/medium weight cotton, cotton/linen blends, needlecord, chambray. 

Skill Level:  Advanced beginner

Notions:  30cm medium weight fusible interfacing, 50cm x 10mm wide elastic for the DRESS version and one 20mm button for the TOP version
