Hazel is a heavy weight fabric with a textured weave, due to the thicker yarn used. The antique wash applied during production brings out the weave texture giving it a "lived in look" and also softening and pre-shrinking the fabric. It has a really nice flowing drape, making it perfect for pants, jackets, skirts. Hemp will soften increasingly with wash and wear, getting better with time...

HEMP 

Hemp uses no pesticides/herbicides to grow and is processed in an Oeko-Tex certified mill.

The cloth is cool, breathable and comfortable on the skin with a flowing textured drape. The different finishes applied during production allow for a drapey and comfortable texture. Hemp is one of the oldest fibres known for its strength and durability.

Fabric care:  Hand washing in cool water with a handful of salt for the first few washes, assists with setting the dye. Do not soak, bleach or wring. Drip dry or dry without delay away from direct heat. Warm iron. 

Our fabric is sold per 25 cm (¼ metre). If you would like to purchase one metre of fabric please enter 4 units. When purchasing multiple units, the fabric will be cut continuously.
